According to the amendment to the Firearms Act No. 13/2021 Coll., a significant change was made in the classification of bows and mechanical weapons. The amendment removed the definition of mechanical weapons, which were previously specified, for example, based on a draw weight exceeding 150 N. Bows and crossbows are no longer classified as weapons under this law. They are now categorized as items not listed under categories A through C-I and are no longer subject to direct firearms regulation.
