White Feather Carbon Wingz – Carbon Horsebow for Traditional Archery

White Feather Carbon Wingz is a lightweight 50″ Korean-style carbon horse bow. It combines the traditional shape of a horsebow with modern maple wood and carbon limbs.

The bow is intended for archers looking for a compact horsebow for traditional archery, horsebow shooting and Korean-style archery techniques.

Korean-Style Horsebow

White Feather Carbon Wingz is based on the shape of classic Korean-style horsebows. Its compact 50″ length makes it easy to carry and more practical in limited spaces than a longbow.

Horsebows are popular with archers who prefer a shorter traditional bow for horse-archery inspired shooting, mounted archery training or traditional practice.

Bow length alone does not determine whether the bow is suitable for a particular archer. Draw weight, draw length, arrow length and release technique must also be considered.

Maple Wood and Carbon Limbs

The limbs use a laminated combination of maple wood and carbon. Maple provides a traditional wooden component, while carbon forms the modern structural layer.

The fully laminated construction should be used with the correct string and suitable arrows. Inspect the limbs and string before every shooting session.

Lightweight 330 g Construction

The bow weighs approximately 330 g. Its low weight makes it easy to carry and may be comfortable during longer training sessions.

A lightweight horsebow can also be convenient when practising techniques that require frequent movement or changes in shooting direction.

Low weight does not mean that the bow is suitable for every archer. The archer must be able to draw and control the bow safely and consistently.

Leather-Wrapped Grip

The handle is wrapped with leather. The leather grip helps create a natural hand position and gives the bow a traditional appearance.

The bow should be held with a relaxed hand. Excessive gripping may reduce consistency and increase hand fatigue.

30–45 lb Draw-Weight Range

The technical description lists a draw-weight range of 30–45 lb. The specific offer is listed as a 35 lb version.

The correct draw weight should be selected according to the archer's physical ability, draw length, experience and intended use.

Higher draw weight does not automatically mean better accuracy. For training, the archer should be able to draw the bow repeatedly without losing control or technique.

Premium Erenhill Horsebow Arrows

For this bow, we recommend premium Erenhill horsebow arrows for horsebows and traditional bows.

They are suitable for archers looking for a traditional arrow setup for horsebows, Korean, Mongolian, Turkish and other traditional archery styles.

When selecting arrows, consider:

• bow draw weight,
• actual draw length,
• arrow length,
• spine,
• point weight,
• total arrow weight,
• fletching type,
• release technique.

Easton Carbon Arrows

For archers who prefer a modern carbon shaft, suitable Easton carbon arrows can also be recommended.

Easton carbon arrows may be suitable for traditional archery and horsebow setups when the spine, length and point weight are correctly selected.

Carbon arrows should not be selected only by model name. The correct combination must match the bow and the archer's real draw length.

Premium Erenhill horsebow arrows and Easton carbon arrows should be offered as separate recommended accessories for this bow.

Recommended Arrow Length

The source description recommends arrows up to 30″ / approximately 760 mm. Another technical line on the same page lists 810 mm.

The correct arrow length must therefore be checked according to the archer's real draw length and shooting style.

Brownell Dakron B-50 String

The bow is supplied with a Brownell Dakron B-50 U.S.A string.

Always inspect the string before shooting and replace it if the fibres are damaged or excessively worn.

The source lists a brace height of 14–14.5 cm.

Arrow Speed and Range

The source description highlights high arrow speed. Actual speed depends on draw weight, draw length, arrow weight, point weight, string and shooting technique.

The source page lists a range of 100–240 m depending on draw weight. This is a source-listed value and is not a guaranteed result for every setup.

Always use a safe shooting area, a suitable target and arrows that match the bow.

For Juniors and Adults

The source description states that the bow can be suitable for juniors and adults. A junior must be able to draw and control the specific draw weight safely.

For adults, the bow may be an interesting lightweight and compact horsebow for traditional training.

Horsebow and Traditional Archery

White Feather Carbon Wingz is suitable for archers looking for a compact horsebow for traditional archery, horsebow shooting or Korean-style techniques.

Before using it for faster shooting or mounted practice, check the arrow length, spine, string stability and safe bow handling.

Inspection Before Shooting

Before every shooting session, inspect:

• the limbs,
• the laminated areas,
• the leather grip,
• the string,
• the string grooves,
• possible cracks,
• delamination,
• the brace height.

Do not use the bow if you find cracks, damaged limbs, delamination or a damaged string.
