The maker, Jan "Kaša" Kašpar, is an experienced craftsman and archer. His bows stand out not only for their authentic appearance and traditional workmanship, but also for their precise functionality.

Bow Material

A wide selection of woods is available, each defining the character and properties of the bow:

Premium and historically prized: yew, laburnum, osage orange
Traditional and more accessible: ash, elm, hornbeam, dogwood, cornelian cherry, hazel, cherry, mulberry, bird cherry, and others

Every type of wood has its own unique qualities – from flexibility and durability to color and grain pattern.

Production Parameters

Each longbow is custom-made and adapted to the individual archer. When ordering, it is necessary to specify:

Bow draw weight: 20 – 130 lb (Accuracy: up to 100 lb ±5 lb, from 100 lb ±10 lb )
Draw length / arrow length: determines the required bow length
Shooting style and arrow placement: ensures proper positioning of the maker's mark

Limb Tips and Nocks

Available options:

Simple wood nocks (not recommended)
Wooden, antler, or horn overlays
Horn nocks – traditional black or light/mottled versions

Bowstring

Material: Fast Flight Plus or similar modern string material
The string is fitted with a serving at the arrow nocking point

Finish

Oiled finish: Danish oil, teak oil, or linseed oil
Clean historical look without inscriptions
Each bow is marked with the maker's stylized "K" symbol near the arrow rest

Price

The price depends on:

Chosen wood type (yew being the most expensive, ash the most affordable)
Bow draw weight (higher draw weight = more demanding to make)
Style of limb tips and nocks
