Lazecký OLIVER 52″ – Kids Bows for Young Beginner Archers
Lazecký OLIVER 52″ is a family of Czech children's bows designed primarily for young archers learning the fundamentals of archery.
The OLIVER range includes several configurations with different riser designs, materials and shooting orientations. Bringing them together within one product makes it easier to compare the models and select the correct bow for the individual child.
OLIVER S Uni
OLIVER S Uni is the simplest version in the family.
It uses an all-wood ash construction without fiberglass lamination and is universal for both right- and left-handed archers.
The bow weighs approximately 350 g and has a draw-weight range of approximately 11–18 lb. Maximum recommended arrow length is approximately 24″ / 600 mm.
It is a practical choice when simple construction, low weight and universal orientation are the main priorities.
OLIVER Uni
OLIVER Uni uses laminated limbs combining selected ash wood and fiberglass.
Its universal construction allows both right- and left-handed children to use the same bow.
Available draw weights are:
- 16 lb,
- 18 lb,
- 20 lb,
- 22 lb.
The bow weighs approximately 360 g and accepts arrows up to approximately 26″ / 650 mm.
OLIVER Uni Extra
OLIVER Uni Extra combines the laminated OLIVER construction with a double-sided contoured riser.
The riser provides an arrow-guiding surface on both sides of the bow while retaining universal right- and left-handed use.
This means a separate arrow rest is not required.
The model is available in 16, 18, 20 and 22 lb.
OLIVER Z
OLIVER Z is designed for children whose preferred shooting orientation is already known.
Unlike the universal versions, it is selected as a dedicated right-handed or left-handed bow.
The contoured riser provides integrated arrow guidance and eliminates the need for a separate arrow rest.
Available draw weights are 16, 18, 20 and 22 lb.
OLIVER Z Colour
OLIVER Z Colour adds coloured styling to the Z family.
It is intended for young archers who want the functional characteristics of the Z design with a more distinctive appearance.
Available colours may vary according to the manufacturer's current production and stock.
Which OLIVER should you choose?
Choose OLIVER S Uni for a simple all-wood universal children's bow.
Choose OLIVER Uni when you want laminated ash-and-fiberglass limbs with universal orientation.
Choose OLIVER Uni Extra when you also want a double-sided contoured riser for arrow guidance.
Choose OLIVER Z when the child needs a dedicated right- or left-handed bow with a contoured riser.
Choose OLIVER Z Colour when the same basic Z concept is preferred with coloured styling.
Choosing the correct draw weight
A stronger children's bow is not automatically a better choice.
The child should be able to draw smoothly without leaning backwards, excessively lifting the shoulders, shaking or losing control of the movement.
A lower draw weight is generally more appropriate for learning technique, while the stronger versions should be selected only when the child's physical ability and experience are sufficient.
Ash wood and fiberglass
Ash wood is the main material throughout the OLIVER family.
S Uni uses an all-wood construction, while Uni, Uni Extra, Z and Z Colour use laminated limbs combining ash with fiberglass.
A polyester bowstring is supplied with the bow.
Arrow selection
Arrow specifications depend on the selected OLIVER model.
The S Uni version uses arrows up to approximately 600 mm, while the laminated OLIVER models are designed for arrows up to approximately 650 mm.
Wooden arrows with natural feather fletching are recommended for the laminated models.
