Erenhill Korean-Mongolian Back Quiver – Speed Shooting Quiver for 13 Arrows

Brand Erenhill

Erenhill Korean-Mongolian Back Quiver is a functional leather quiver designed primarily for speed shooting, dynamic archery and mounted archery.

Its key feature is the way the arrows are positioned and secured. The quiver's loop-and-pocket system helps keep the arrows stable in an angled position, providing quick access while significantly reducing unwanted arrow movement.

In our practical use, this model has performed exceptionally well during running, jumping and horseback riding. When the arrows are correctly inserted and the quiver is properly secured, they remain firmly positioned even during dynamic movement.

The combination of secure arrow retention and angled positioning makes this our preferred quiver for speed shooting both on foot and on horseback.

The model is offered under the Erenhill Brand. Korean-Mongolian describes its stylistic inspiration; it is not presented as an exact historical reproduction of a specific Korean or Mongolian quiver.

Erenhill Korean-Mongolian Back Quiver – Speed Shooting and Mounted Archery Quiver

Erenhill Korean-Mongolian Back Quiver is designed around two priorities: secure arrow retention and fast access during movement.

Unlike a simple open quiver where arrows can move freely, this model uses loops and pockets to stabilise the arrows in an angled position.

This makes the arrows easy to reach while reducing unwanted movement during dynamic shooting.

Designed for speed shooting

The angled arrow position is one of the most important features of this model.

Instead of storing all arrows vertically in one deep compartment, the layout allows the archer to reach behind the shoulder, take an arrow and continue the shooting sequence efficiently.

This makes the quiver especially suitable for:

  • speed shooting,
  • shooting while moving,
  • timed shooting sequences,
  • dynamic archery,
  • mounted archery.

Tested during real movement

From our own practical experience, this is the best-performing quiver of this type that we have used.

With the arrows correctly inserted and the quiver properly secured, we have tested it during:

  • running,
  • rapid movement,
  • jumping,
  • horseback riding.

The arrows remain firmly positioned instead of moving freely inside the quiver.

This practical stability is the main reason why we personally use this model as our preferred quiver for speed shooting.

Mounted archery

Arrow stability becomes especially important on horseback.

The movement of the horse creates repeated impacts and changes in direction. In a loose quiver, arrows may move, strike each other or potentially fall out.

The retention system of the Korean-Mongolian Back Quiver helps keep the arrows in a defined position while still allowing fast access.

Before mounted use, always check that the quiver is correctly secured and every arrow is safely positioned.

Maximum capacity of 13 arrows

The quiver is designed for a maximum of 13 arrows.

The ideal number can vary depending on:

  • shaft diameter,
  • fletching size,
  • arrow length,
  • individual arrow setup.

There is no requirement to use the full capacity at all times.

Two integrated pockets

The quiver includes two integrated pockets.

Depending on their dimensions, these can be used for arrows or smaller archery accessories.

Together with the retaining loops, they form part of the system used to organise and stabilise the arrows.

Compact leather construction

The quiver measures approximately 31 × 22 cm and weighs approximately 430 g / 15.2 oz when empty.

It is made from chemically softened calf leather and combines stitched and riveted construction.

Erenhill Brand

The model is offered under the Erenhill Brand.

The Korean-Mongolian designation refers to broader Korean, Mongolian and Asian archery inspiration.

Historical Korean and Mongolian quivers existed in several different forms, including belt-mounted equipment associated with mounted archery. This modern back-quiver layout is therefore not presented as an exact historical reproduction.

It is primarily a modern functional quiver for contemporary archery.

Right- and left-handed versions

The quiver is available in both right- and left-handed configurations.

Selecting the correct version is particularly important for efficient and natural arrow drawing during speed shooting.

Colour options

Available combinations are:

  • Black–White,
  • Black–Red,
  • Black–Blue,
  • Black–Brown,
  • Black–Yellow.

Summary

Erenhill Korean-Mongolian Back Quiver combines a maximum capacity of 13 arrows, a loop-and-pocket retention system, angled arrow positioning and compact leather construction.

Its primary advantages are fast access to the arrows and excellent stability during movement.

Based on our own practical experience, it is the best-performing speed-shooting quiver we have used so far, which is why we personally use this model for both dynamic and mounted archery.
